Gallery Folders

Both plumpener and myself would like to welcome everybody to our new group P-51 Fan Club. As you will be aware this group was set up to celebrate the North American P-51 Mustang and all of it's variants. First of all we would like to thank everybody for joining. We appreciate your interest in the group and it is great to see that you are already contributing to the galleries. Keep up the great work. For those that have yet to contribute we look forward to seeing your work fill our galleries. There are no limits, and we accept all types of deviations. If anybody is not sure where to post work or feels we have neglected a certain category please feel free to message either me or plumpener We are always open to ideas.

An idea that was already put forward to us which we have decided was a great idea is our Airworthy Mustang Project. You may have already noticed the folder with this name.

So then how does it work? With so many Mustangs flying in the world today. The idea was put forward that we should try and gather and record as many of them as we possibly could.  Within the folder we are looking for our members to contribute photographs for this record. We are accepting only one photograph for each individual aircraft so if somebody has already added a certain Mustang I'm afraid it will not be allowed. As photographs get added I will be listing them within the folder so you can easily check if you are not sure. We would like to thank OpticaLLightspeed for contributing this idea. A much valued suggestion.

Anyway I will sign off by saying thank you once more for all your contributions and I hope you all enjoy being part of the group!

At Aero 2013, FK Lightplanes pulled the cover off a show stealer: a 70% scale Mustang ultralight and LSA. Molded of carbon fiber, the aircraft is true to the original, right down to the dimples in the rivet lines. AVweb's Paul Bertorelli took a tour of the airplane with FK's Roland Hallam.
